Quick answer
Choose the Baby Einstein Clever Composer Tune Table for a rich, open-ended musical experience with multiple instruments and modes, or the Magic Touch Drums for a focused, portable drumming activity that's perfect for on-the-go play.
Size and play style differences
The Clever Composer Tune Table is a larger wooden activity center designed for floor play, encouraging standing and exploration. It offers 22 instrument options and 3 modes of play, making it a versatile choice for curious toddlers. In contrast, the Magic Touch Drums is a compact drum set that's easy to bring along for travel or quick play sessions.
Both toys use Magic Touch technology, so no buttons are needed—just tap the wooden surface. This makes them intuitive for babies as young as 6-12 months, but the Tune Table's larger size and more features may appeal to older toddlers who enjoy longer, more varied play.
Price and value considerations
The Tune Table is priced at USD 63.89 (compared to USD 89.99), while the Magic Touch Drums cost USD 18.74 (compared to USD 24.99). The Tune Table offers more features and a larger footprint, making it a better value for families wanting a central play station. The Drums are a budget-friendly option that still delivers the same touch-based technology.
If you're looking for a gift or a toy that grows with your child, the Tune Table's multiple modes and instrument variety provide more longevity. For a simple, focused musical introduction, the Drums are a excellent choice.
